Do you like blending colours? Can you create mesmerizing designs by mixing different types of colours? If you said yes, then Wild Rice Retreat would like to send you a cordial invitation for joining its very exciting Layers Upon Layers event.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION
Layers Upon Layers is a very beneficial event of Wild Rice Retreat that will help you develop experimental approaches to the layering of colour and visual texture on cloth. Whether you are a beginner or a professional, this is the right opportunity for you to advance your knowledge of layering colours.
This wonderful event is about to occur on Sunday, August 22, and will run through Thursday, August 26, 2021. Throughout this five-day long event, you will experiment; discover unique techniques of layering colours, and work with professionals all while learning how to give fabric texture, dimension, and layers.
Carol Soderlund has been working as a successful artist and educator for 25 years. She is a former high school teacher and was nominated for Teacher of the Year two times first in 2013 and second in 2015 by the International Association of Creative Arts Professionals. She is also a co-author of Playful Fabric Printing with Melanie Testa. She has shown her artistic talent to the world by winning many prestigious awards consisting of Best of Show at the International Quilt Festival in Houston, Texas.
