ABOUT THE ONLINE COURSE
Refine your skills and gain some useful knowledge about the photography industry by joining this wonderful workshop called the Long Term Personal Project – From Concept to Audience. In this retreat-style workshop, you will learn to create photographic work that is authentic and holds the strongest possibility of sponsorship, exhibition and publication.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION
This event is an immersive educational experience for photographers who are at the beginning, middle or nearing completion of a photography project. From working in a long-term project and photography marketing to publishing and social media, you will learn a lot as a part of this workshop.
This event is going to happen on Sunday, August 8, on a beautiful location surrounded by nature. It will last through Thursday, August 12, 2021. This event is a wonderful chance for you to learn from Mary Virginia Swanson and enhance your knowledge. Besides learning experience, you will be a part of a lively conversation, share your work with people and enjoy a boat tour. Overall, this event will inspire you to grow as a professional photographer.
Mary Virginia Swanson is a multitalented person who has worked as an educator, author, advisor and entrepreneur. She guides artists to find the strengths in their work, identify appropriate audiences, and present their work in a professional, informed manner. Through lectures and workshops on marketing opportunities, she helps photographers move their careers to the next level. She is a native of Minnesota and served as a research assistant in the Minneapolis Institute of Art’s Department of Photography.
